ATL Technology, (“ATL”) joint development and full-service manufacturing partner to medical device OEMs, announced that Joe Glover has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, following the decision by current CEO and Founder, Brad Brown, to take on a new role as Executive Chairman effective August 1st, 2022.

Almost 30 years ago, Brad Brown started ATL because he had a vision of a theoretical company that would use an engineer-to-engineer approach to work directly alongside the customer’s engineering team to partner on specification review, design requirements, and manufacturing ramp-up. Over the last three decades, the organization has seen a favorable response from its customers to this approach, especially its medical device OEM partners. As a result, Brad Brown has led the company to be 95% medical-focused with a vision to be recognized as a leader in the manufacturing of single-use intelligent medical devices.

Several years ago, in support of that vision, Brad had put together a Board of Directors. Since that time, ATL executives have been leveraging the Board Member’s industry and leadership expertise to achieve specific business outcomes.

After much thought and careful consideration, Brad has decided to focus his attention on specific, strategic aspects of the business to support its growth goals, including that of customer-facing strategy and mergers and acquisitions, in the role of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. To allow his time and attention to be more targeted, he will step down as CEO, and Joe Glover, a member of ATL’s Board of Directors for 5 years, will be his successor.

“With a talented Executive Team and Board of Directors in place, coupled with the fact that ATL is operating at record levels, it is time for me to step back from my CEO position and focus on strategic growth opportunities as Executive Chairman. The process of choosing our next CEO was not taken lightly. We hired an outside company and went through a thorough vetting and interview process with a few excellent candidates. I am confident in Joe’s expertise with his extensive leadership experience and his industry knowledge. Joe has also been an active board member, contributing to our strategy development to get to where we are today, and has played a role in helping to identify a roadmap to achieve our overall vision. I look forward to witnessing the continued growth of the company under his leadership,” states Brad Brown.

Joe Glover will bring his more than 16 years of experience in the interconnect solution industry as well as his executive leadership experience and best practices he has obtained while acting as President at multiple organizations in the Aerospace industry. Joe will maintain his position on the Board of Directors in addition to his new role as CEO.

“It has been a real pleasure working with Brad and the executive team at ATL as a member of the Board of Directors for the last 5 years. Being a part of the strategic vision of the company and watching its trajectory over the last few years has been incredible. I look forward to taking on a more hands-on role as CEO and helping to lead the team to bring ATL’s vision to fruition in partnering with our customers to bring better medical devices to market and improve the quality of patients’ lives,” said Joe Glover.
